cartouche printed NEWTON'S New & Improved TERRESTRIAL GLOBE Published by Newton Son 66 Chancery Lane LONDON, the sphere applied with twelve hand-coloured and engraved gores, mounted in brass meridian divided into four quadrant, in fishskin case mounted around the rim with a horizon ring printed with points of the compass and degree scales, one hemisphere applied with twelve half gores printed with studies of the sun and planets - 4in (10cm) diameter
