comprising main brass core bar with bridged reading scale incised with Roman numerals up to XVIII, the 18 boxwood discs stamped ordering from 2 to 9, each with locking pin-face to engage with neighbouring disk, constant sprung-loading pressure from slot in the core - 4.3/8in. (11cm) long, each disc diameter .13/16in. (2.1cm)
