A commission-manufactured 24.1/2-inch 'Polyphon Mikado' coin-operated upright twin disc musical box,
devised and built by Norman Vince, circa 1990,
with weight-driven motor and vertical union drive to the cast silvered titled movement bedplates each having twin 'Sublime-Harmonie' combs, on intermediate oak soundboard, behind arched glazed door with gilt and colour decal and title decoration, crank for weight to the left-hand side below coin slot and drawer, in blonde-grained finished case with stepped pediment, pierced sound frets and twin columns above fielded panel and wide plinth base, with one set of discs playing The Last Rose of Summer - 84in. (213cm) high, the width 33.1/2in. (85cm), the depth 26in. (66cm)
