playing eight airs including works by Verdi, Mozart and Carafa, with large single-spring motor, stamped single-section comb on plain polished brass bedplate in red stained interior under dustlid, period blue tunesheet inside the lid, in rouge-grained end-flap case with the rosewood veneered lid bearing central shaped cartouche featuring French horn in boxwood on green fruitwood ground, geometric scrolled frame, further matched inlay in stained woods to border and double stringing to front, with a later T bar key - 17.3/4in. (45cm) wide, the cylinder 9.3/8in. (24cm), 3in. (7.8cm) diameter
