playing two airs including Shepherd and the Clouds, 18-part sectional comb with teeth in groups of three, extreme treble as one, on plain polished brass bedplate, in fine polished Karalain birch case, with the lid having pierced and tooled gold crest, enamel infils in blue and red and full Latin script, opening to reveal full tortoiseshell veneered interior, figured tortoiseshell edges to lid and underside, yellow metal start/stop and change/repeat buttons to front, with period leaf-pierced key - 3.5/8in. (8.5cm) wide, the cylinder 2.1/4in. (5.7cm)
