A fine gold and petit-enamel musical key,
Swiss, circa 1810,
the tiny barillet movement with stack of nine teeth playing a single air, the key case of typical shaped rectangular form, one side with cat's-eye wave ground within enamelled border of leaf swags in relief and light blue enamel dots with cobalt blue enamel infil, the other side the same with small circular cartouche, plain steel female stem, opposing baulle bosses to movement with gold brackets (one missing), hoop wind handle to top - 2.1/8in. (5.5cm) high
