with going-barrel movement, the bird with red, blue and dark brown feathered plumage with green iridescent highlights, moving metal beak, wings and tailfeather to continuous birdsong, rising through pierced and tooled gilt grille, plain gilt lid interior, in unmarked silver case with an abundance of pink enamel panels to all sides and top, the bird and main lids with trellis engine decoration, shaped edge with stylised swag frieze engine turning, start/stop in relief to front-right, plain underside with small hinged key compartment with gilt interior, on bun feet - two of turned ivory and two in turned bone, with a key, (bellows holed, bird movements tentative) -
