No. 65842 "No 1 Van Heuurck" W Watson & Sons Ltd. 313 High Holborn, London in black enamel and lacquered brass with focusing by rack and pinion and calibrated milled screw, adjustment to the two eyepieces, triple turret nosepiece, mechanical circular stage with sub-stage condensers, stops and plano/concave mirror, on tripod base, in mahogany case with comprehensive set of accessories including four four Zeiss objectives in fitted case, four Watson objectives, polariser and a copy of the Watson guarantee card for this microscope dated the 7th July 1938, the case with original lined canvas cover 15 3/4in (40cm) high
