Retaining some original blued finish, the barrel engraved Colt's PT.F.A.MFG.Co., Hartford CT U.S.A. (rubbed) along the top, with blade-foresight and ejector-rod, grooved top-strap, the left side of the frame (slight pitting) with three line patent date stamp and U.S, inspectors mark DFC, the butt with replacement hard-rubber grips (loose, chipped and crudely repaired)
7½in. barrel, recent London Black Powder proof
