Bolt-head safety, dust-cover, full blued finish, fully-detachable magazine with chain, magazine cut-off, highly-figured stock with pistolgrip, horn pistolgrip-cap and steel butt-plate with trap, horn-capped forestock, sling-eyes, the barrel, engraved Sighted by Alex Henry & Co., 22 Frederick St., Edinburgh, with open-sights, sighted for 100, 200 & 300 yards, and ramp-mounted bead-foresight

  • John Dickson have kindly confirmed that the rifle was completed in 1919. L.S.A. are believed to have stopped producing sporting rifles in 1920, ceasing production entirely in 1925. Examples of their commercial production, particularly in this calibre, are more rarely encountered than those by B.S.A.
