In excavated condition, with broad sharply tapering blade of flattened diamond section, the hilt comprising slightly arched tapering quillons of triangular section flat along the top and thickening to form a shallow ridged projection over each face of the forte, flat tapering tang with rounded edges, and large flat circular pommel drawn-out at the top to form a button
