In excavated condition, with broad tapering double-edged blade (repaired at the point) with shallow central fuller over most of its length on both sides, hilt comprising waisted quillons of circular section widening strongly at the tips, flat tapering tang retaining its original rounded wooden grip-scales, and rounded Brazil-nut pommel
