With blued octagonal sighted barrel with double line engraving along the angles and a band of foliage around the muzzle, blued border engraved top-strap, blued serial numbered cylinder engraved with foliage around the forward edge, blued border engraved frame decorated with scrolling foliage, trigger, blued safety-stop, arbor-pin and rammer, foliate scroll engraved russet trigger-guard and butt-cap, chequered figured rounded butt, and retaining much of its original finish (some loss of finish and surface rust overall, hammer-nose filed off), London proof marks
