With rebrowned twist damascus sighted barrels signed in gold along the rib, breeches engraved with foliage between and each with short platinum line and pierced engraved platinum plug, foliate scroll engraved case-hardened tang, signed border engraved locks and dolphin hammers, figured half-stock with chequered grip and fore-end, foliate scroll engraved steel mounts comprising butt-plate and serial numbered trigger-guard, the latter retaining much of its original blueing, trigger-plate with slender foliate engraved finial, engraved barrel-bolt escutcheons, vacant silver escutcheon, grooved forward trigger, original serial numbered brass-mounted ramrod (chipped behind the tip on one side), and some original finish: in original lined and fitted oak case (two compartment lids missing) with some accessories including original leather wallet for a combination tool and spare nipples, nipple-wrench and spare serial numbered ramrod, the interior of the lid with maker's trade label, the exterior with flush-fitting brass carrying handle centred on a circular vacant brass escutcheon, London proof marks
