The first with rebrowned twist sighted barrels indistinctly signed on the rib, foliate engraved breeches, tang, locks and hammers, figured half-stock with chequered pistol-grip and fore-end, the former with fluted horn cap, chequered horn butt-plate, engraved steel trigger-guard, and brass-mounted ramrod; the second with twist sighted barrels (pitted), grooved foliate engraved tang, signed foliate engraved flat locks and dolphin hammers, figured half-stock (minor worming) with chequered grip, plain white-metal butt-plate and trigger-guard, trigger-plate with pineapple-shaped finial, and original horn-tipped ramrod (rear ramrod-pipe finial missing, worn and some pitting overall), Birmingham proof marks (2)
