With browned twist damascus sighted barrels (pitted internally and externally, minor holes) sliding forward for loading and signed in full along the rib, long slender tang engraved with scrolling foliage, signed back-action locks, hammers, hinged under-lever and mounts all en suite, the under-lever retaining some blueing engraved 'Henry Egg's Improvement' and with chequered terminal, action bar stamped 'P. Phillips & Son', figured butt (minor worming and bruising) with cheek-piece and chequered pistol-grip, chequered fore-end, and vacant silver escutcheon, London proof marks
