A Fine Pair Of Liège 18-Bore Flintlock Holster Pistols

With bright barrels each signed in capital letters along the sighting flat behind the silver fore-sight, the border engraved breech sections elaborately chiselled and engraved in low relief with symmetrical scrolling foliage partly against punched gold grounds, each breech flat with counterfeit gold-inlaid maker's mark of Alonzo Martinez, the tangs, bright rounded locks, cocks, steels and mounts all en suite with the barrels, the mounts comprising rounded side-plates with shaped borders, crowned escutcheons, faceted butt-caps, trigger-guards and baluster ramrod-pipes, artificially figured fruitwood full stocks (minor bruising, one broken through and repaired beneath the lock) with moulded borders and carved with foliage behind each rear ramrod-pipe and barrel tang, bird's head butts, later horn-tipped ramrods, and retaining most of their burnished finish (some minor surface rust) (2)
