A Spanish 20-Bore Miquelet-Lock Pistol

With two-stage barrel chiselled with a band of foliage at the girdle, octagonal breech inlaid with silver scrollwork and stamped with maker's punzones of I.P. Esteva within brass-inlaid fleur-de-lys and dots, lightly engraved tang and lock, figured full stock (fore-end mostly replaced, chipped at the tail of the lock), foliate engraved brass mounts comprising side-plate and pierced tang-plate each secured by brass tacks and applied with a lead medallion cast with a helmeted male profile bust, spurred pommel with grotesque mask cap, trigger-guard, and later iron ramrod (some wear overall)
