The first with rebrowned octagonal sighted barrel (touch-hole bushed), plain tang, replacement flat bevelled lock, figured full stock with cheek-piece and chequered grip, brass mounts comprising shaped flat side-plate, butt-plate, and wooden spur trigger-guard secured by a brass strap with shaped finial, brass ramrod-pipes, and later brass-tipped ramrod; the second with sighted barrel, rounded action with exposed trigger, and rounded butt with steel shoulder-stock aperture, and figured shoulder-stock with iron attachment mount and white-metal butt-plate, Birmingham proof marks; together with two socket bayonets each with blade of hollow triangular section, one in modern brass-mounted black leather scabbard, and a reproduction Pritchard bayonet for a Webley Mark VI service revolver, in its steel scabbard with leather frog (5)
