With blued sighted rifled barrel stamped 'Whitworth.Patent' along the top in front of the serial numbered breech-block stamped '25 Grains', hinged breech-lever stamped 'Westley Richards Patent', case-hardened signed flat lock dated within a triangle on the tail, figured three-quarter stock (minor bruising) indistinctly stamped and dated opposite the lock, brass mounts comprising trigger-guard, butt-cap and fore-end cap, lanyard ring, chequered trigger, original iron ramrod, and some original finish, Birmingham proof marks
