With sighted barrel and tang, dated flat lock stamped 'Birmingham' and with 'EIG' crowned on the tail, full stock (bruised, butt split and repaired) stamped with indistinct inspector's marks, and with circular Birmingham 'E.I.G' mark and supplier's name 'Joseph Bourne & Son' opposite the lock, regulation brass mounts including ovoidal butt-cap with lanyard swivel, and stirrup ramrod (steel parts with some light pitting), Ordnance view and proof marks
