With sighted barrel rifled with three grooves, stamped 'N.S.B.' on one side at the breech, and retained by two Baddeley patent barrel bands, calibrated folding adjustable back-sight, plain tang and flat lock, chained nipple-protector, figured full stock (some bruising) with circular arsenal marks of Birmingham and Fort William on one side of the butt, numbered regulation brass mounts, steel saddle-bar and ring, and stirrup ramrod
