A French 14-Bore Model AN XIII Percussion Military Pistol
Dated 1812
Converted from flintlock, with plain barrel dated 1812 at the breech and retained by a brass barrel band and linked to the rounded side-plate, faintly etched tang with extension down the back of the butt, flat bevelled lock with faintly etched manufactory details, figured half-stock, regulation brass mounts struck with inspector's marks and including rounded slightly beaked pommel, and original steel ramrod (steel parts with some pitting)
