The Second By James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, 19th Century
The first with bag-shaped body covered in brown pigskin and with brass ring for suspension, brass top retaining some original lacquered finish and with hinged adjustable flip-top acting against a spring, and blued cut-off spring; the second with copper bag-shaped body embossed on each side with a trellised design of flower-heads within strapwork; the third with leather body of shot-belt form, and brass nozzle with sprung powder-measure also forming the stopper; the fourth with leather body tooled on each side with a pheasant in a landscape within a foliated border, brass nozzle and cut-off lever, and ring for suspension; the bullet moulds comprising one of brass and for casting two spherical bullets, and with turned swelling wooden handles, and three others for percussion turn-off pistols, each of steel and for casting spherical bullets, the arms variously incorporating two barrel-wrenches, a nipple-wrench and a corkscrew (8)
