With a pair of sharply-pointed blades each of stiff diamond section to the point, recessed over half their length on both sides and chiselled with a medial 'cyprus' tree issuing from a gilt fleur-de-lys, the forte on both sides chiselled with a gold-damascened floret against a punched ground, characteristic iron hilt decorated overall with gold-damascened flowering foliage (some loss of decoration and surface rust), and comprising tapering side-bars, and grip of flour flat bars each swelling towards the centre
