With tapering blade (rust patinated) fullered and notched along the back-edge, double-edged at the point and stamped with crowned cutler's name 'Boog' on one side at the forte, ebonised baluster grip carved with foliage and basketweave, the latter set with silver studs, replacement domed silver pommel-cap with knurled border, and silver basal mount embossed and chased with foliage, in its black leather scabbard with silver locket, chape and mounts for the extra pieces, all with applied thistles (incomplete), the chape now with applied terminal engraved with a ship and inscribed 'Sine Meth' and 'Jameson', the extra pieces comprising two forks, one en suite with the hilt (the other replaced), and with a silver loop for suspension
