With brightly repolished single-edged blade clipped-back at the point and stamped with maker's details on one side of the forte, folding white-metal cross-guard and grip, the latter incorporating sprung catches, and chequered dark horn grip-scales, in original leather scabbard with steel marlinspike and leather loop for suspension
