With Italian export barrel and lock, the former chiselled with foliage highlighted with silver at the breech, tang en suite, flat bevelled lock (cock retaining screw missing) signed 'Rossi' and engraved with foliage on the tail, moulded figured full stock (chipped behind the lock) carved in low relief with foliage overall, full mounts comprising foliate scroll side-plate, border engraved spurred pommel and trigger-guard, the latter with foliate finial, foliate escutcheon, engraved fore-end cap, turned ramrod-pipes, and false silver ramrod
