The first with barrel turned and slightly belled at the muzzle and decorated with encrusted silver foliage at the muzzle and breech, tang en suite, sparsely engraved rounded lock (action defective), carved figured full stock (butt split and repaired), iron mounts including spurred pommel and escutcheon decorated en suite with the barrel, iron ramrod-pipes, and false ramrod; the second with shortened russet barrel retained by a later iron barrel band, characteristic russet lock, full stock entirely covered in scroll engraved brass sheet secured by brass pins, the back of the butt with clusters of encrusted pewter, faceted pointed pommel, engraved iron trigger-guard applied with brass over the bow, and false ramrod (2)
