A Small Turkish Flintlock Blunderbuss, And A Turkish 18-Bore Flintlock Holster Pistol

The first with barrel flared at the muzzle and decorated overall with silver-damascened scrollwork, tang and flat bevelled lock en suite, plain cock and steel, figured full stock with carved grip and foliage around the barrel tang, brass mounts naively engraved with foliage and comprising pierced side-plate, butt-plate and trigger-guard, ramrod-pipes, and wooden ramrod; the second with barrel secured by a brass band at the muzzle and with two brass-lined barrelsmith's marks on the top flat at the breech, foliate engraved lock, carved figured full stock (split through and repaired behind the lock), pierced brass side-plate, spurred pommel, and thin iron trigger-guard, and false wooden ramrod (worn overall) (2)
