With curved single-edged blade damascened in silver with scrolling foliage along the back for most of its length on both sides, the gilt-copper hilt of tulwar form comprising quillons with bud-shaped terminals, pointed langets, swelling grip rising to a tiger-head pommel, and decorated overall with flowering foliage against a punched ground, in original wood-lined gilt-copper scabbard embossed and chased along each side en suite with the hilt, and with two rings for suspension
