Late 19th/Early 20th Century
The first with curved fullered double-edged blade, waisted silver-covered hilt embossed and chased with foliage along one side set with two silver florets, and along the other with a scaled pattern, central collar chased with foliage en suite, and bud-shaped terminals, in original wood-lined silver scabbard decorated on the outside with panels and borders of pierced and chased foliage, suspension strap chased with foliage and with three rings on either side for suspension, and large bud-shaped finial; the second with bright curved double-edged blade engraved on each side at the forte, waisted silver-covered hilt with embossed and chased decoration set with three button-shaped filigree mounts on the outside, and triangular pommel surmounted by five silver buttons, in original wood-lined silver scabbard (the dagger not fitting fully into the scabbard) en suite with the hilt, the outside embossed and chased with scrolling foliage and with a medial band of twisted silver wire securing the remains of a leather suspension strap (2)
