With tapering double-edged blade with central fuller over each face of the forte incised with indistinct letters and with a mark beyond, iron hilt comprising shouldered quillon-block pierced with a hole on each side above short drop-shaped quillons, a mount beneath for fitting over the throat of the scabbard, faceted helmet-shaped pommel, and tubular grip now covered in leather (worn and pitted overall)
