With slightly curved watered double-edged blade cut with two fullers over most of its length on both sides forming a medial ridge, the forte chiselled on each side with foliage inhabited by a tiger attacking a bull within a gold-damascened line border, waisted steel hilt of oval section chiselled and gilt over each side with cartouche-shaped panels of foliage centred on a kneeling Persian figure, in original wood-lined steel scabbard decorated en suite over each side and including a falcon attacking a heron, a pair of partridges and a central cartouche framing a couplet in Persian nastaliq script, button terminal, and retaining much of its original gilding against the remains of a blued ground
