The bolstered treble-grip action-body with side-clips, best large-scroll engraving, virtually full hardening-colour, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, the underside with J. Purdey & Sons, London, England engraved in scrolling banners, trigger-plate signed WPS, rolled-edge trigger-guard, bolted safety, highly-figured stock (line behind right lockplate) with elongated top-strap, pistolgrip, engraved colour-hardened pistolgrip-cap with trap containing spare bead-foresight, cheek-piece and engraved heel-and-toe plates, beaver-tail forends, the chopper-lump barrels, each engraved J. Purdey & Sons, London, England, with short matt sight-rib, open-sights sighted for 50 & 100 yards, and ramp-mounted bead-foresight, the breech-ends fitted with a Swarovski Z6i 1-6x24 telescope-sight in pivot quickly-detachable mounts

  • The makers have kindly confirmed that the rifle was completed in 1993. According to their records, the .375 barrels were regulated using Winchester 300 grain bullets, and the .300 barrels were regulated using Winchester 150 grain bullets. The telescope-sight is transferable between the two sets of barrels
