Colour-hardened side-safety, the Mauser action-body with thumb-recess, engraved recoil-block, the receiver, bolt-head and handle, trigger-guard and magazine-floorplate all finely carved with bold foliate-scrollwork, hinged magazine-floorplate with Cal. .270 Win. inlaid in gold, push-forward set-trigger, highly-figured stock with pistolgrip, horn pistolgrip-cap, cheek-piece and recoil-pad, quickly-detachable sling-swivels, the Hammerli barrel engraved J. Rigby & Co., London, England, the receiver mounted with a Zeiss Diavari-Z 1.5-6x42 telescope-sight in pivot mounts engraved en suite with the action and with J. Rigby & Co./No. 6826
