Converted from a Beaumont-Adams, retaining some blued finish, the octagonal barrel with traces of the original address along the cylinder-strap, the right side of the frame with combination ejector-rod and safety-bolt, the left side stamped 1.77, the trigger-guard tang stamped 9.L.9, the butt with chequered one-piece wooden grip with Enfield inspector's mark, notched on the left side for a Rigby rammer, and butt-cap
