With russet slightly swamped octagonal sighted barrel signed in full along the top flat, border engraved tang decorated with foliage and incorporating the back-sight, gold-lined touch-hole, border engraved flat bevelled lock (internal working parts with surface rust) signed in script, engraved with a starburst behind the pan with a part martial trophy on the stepped tail, and with engraved safety-catch, figured full stock (some bruising, fore-end incomplete), chequered rounded butt with pommel cut with radiating lines, trigger-guard with urn and pineapple finial and decorated with a martial trophy on the bow, iron ramrod-pipes, adjustable set trigger, and wooden ramrod (incomplete, iron parts russet overall), London proof marks
