With sighted barrels signed in full along the top flat and engraved with scrolling foliage at the muzzles and breeches, foliate scroll engraved breeches and tang, the former each with platinum plug, signed border engraved back-action locks (one action defective) decorated with scrolling foliage, safety-catches and hammers (one hammer spur repaired, one retaining screw replaced) en suite, later chequered rounded butt and engraved trigger-guard, ovoidal butt-cap with hinged circular butt-trap cover and decorated en suite with the locks, and stirrup ramrod: in later lined and fitted mahogany case with powder-flask (body replaced)
