Converted from flintlock, with turn-off cannon barrels, signed border engraved actions each decorated with a rocaille against a martial trophy on both sides, sliding trigger-guard safety-catches each engraved with a flower-head in a diamond-shaped panel on the bow, figured rounded butts inlaid with silver wire scrollwork (some losses), vacant silver escutcheons, and cast and chased silver lion and rampart butt-caps (some wear and rust patination overall), Tower private proof marks (2)
