With octagonal sighted barrel engraved around the muzzle, with foliage at the breech and signed along the top flat, plain cylinder rotating to the left, numbered from '1' to '6' and engraved around the forward edge, border engraved frame decorated with scrolling foliage, trigger-guard and butt en suite, engraved hammer with blued hammer-safety, sprung rammer, the housing retaining some original blueing and the rounded end engraved with a flower-head, and chequered rounded grips, Birmingham proof marks
