With blued octagonal sighted barrel rifled with ten grooves and signed along the top flat, case-hardened foliate scroll engraved breech and tang each numbered '1' in gold, the latter incorporating an adjustable back-sight, case-hardened foliate scroll engraved shaped detented lock, dolphin hammer and mounts en suite, the last comprising shaped case-hardened pommel drawn-out to a flattened diamond-shaped terminal with baluster finial, blued spur trigger-guard, engraved case-hardened trigger-plate, ebony half-stock carved with foliage in relief against a stippled ground on the fore-end and with fluted butt, blued set trigger, and in fine condition retaining much of its original finish
