A Rare French Jarre Patent Second Model 7MM Self-Cocking Pin-Fire Six-Shot 'Harmonica' Pistol
No. 360, Circa 1873
With horizontally arranged serial numbered barrel-block of six polygroove rifled barrels operating from left to right on firing and stamped on the upper right side 'A. Jarre Bte. S.G.D.C.', hinged breech-mount securing the cartridges and operated by a chequered spring-catch on the left, one-piece action and butt, the former stamped 'A Jarre Bte. S.G.D.C.' on the right, the latter housing a threaded cartridge-extracting rod behind the hammer, exposed trigger, rounded ebony grips (one with minor split), and faint traces of original blueing
