An Indonesian Bronze Lantaka
18th/19th Century
Of characteristic form, with sighted two-stage barrel cast with triangular panels of foliage behind the cog-like muzzle, at the mid-section and at the breech, the last with long foliate panel along the top, cog-like reinforce with petalled border behind the touch-hole, tubular cascabel, and pivoting peg-mount cast with foliage on each side
69 cm. barrel, 2.5 cm. bore
