With domed skull decorated overall with swept panels of encrusted silver and chiselled foliage tapering towards the top, the rim bordered by ovoidal and circular panels of silver-damascened Persian verses in cursive script, all the decoration between gold-damascened borders, fitted with two plume-holders, central threaded spike of diamond section and adjustable nasal with shaped finials, all decorated with gold-damascened foliage and scrollwork, vandyked camail of small butted rings interrupted by rows and designs of brass rings, and in fine condition
