With earlier slender barrel of hog's back form with slightly moulded muzzle and a panel at the breech, characteristic lock with circular brass maker's mark, slender wooden three-quarter stock covered in black leather and with full nielloed silver mounts, some held by pins and including side-plate, butt and spherical pommel each with beaded borders, the former with back-strap nielloed with the date and maker's name in thulth script 'Hajji Ghiyas' behind the breech, the latter with nielloed suspension loop retaining its embroidered leather tab with suspension cord and tassel, three barrel bands, the forward one also forming the fore-end mount with false ramrod, and nielloed button trigger
