With broad tapering double-edged blade etched with arabesques within the converging double fuller over most of its length on each side and stamped with a circular maker's mark of Amr on both sides at the forte, and waisted walrus-ivory hilt (minor split) of ovoidal section secured by two transverse pins each with domed boss on the outside, in original wooden scabbard covered in sparsely tooled brown leather with iron suspension mount and turned horn terminal
