- Robin Elvin grew up in Norfolk and has become one of the countries leading portrait painters with examples of his work in National institutions including the Royal collection. Most recently he has been thrust into the limelight with appearances on Rolf Harris's 'Star Portraits'.
This postumous depiction of Churchill was taken from detailed studies of statues around London was commissioned in 1999.
