- In the early 1960s Piper was commissioned to produce a series of large fibre glass murals to decorate the new building for the North Thames Gas Board at Wandsworth. The present lot are designs Piper created to present to the manufacturing company Manzaroli and Gillespie, who were to produce the murals, which were completed in 1962.
