1968 Moto Morini 49cc Corsarino
Registration no. TRP 167F
Frame no. 17873
One of the smallest machines in Moto Morini's range at the time of its introduction in the late 1960s, the overhead-valve-engined Corsarino (little racer) was intended to give youngsters an introduction to 'real' motorcycling. This example was first UK registered in 2002 by marque specialists North Leicester Motorcycles and was purchased by the current vendor and taken to the Isle of Man in 2007, since when it has not been on show as part of his private collection. Restored in 2002, the machine was serviced and passed its Isle of Man test in January 2008 (bill of file) and should require only a modest amount of re-commissioning. Sold only because of reluctant downsizing, it is described as in generally good condition and offered with two expired MoTs (most recent 2005), IoM registration document and old Swansea V5/V5C documents. No reserve.
